... Garcia Design, Inc. provided landscape architecture design services in order obtain city entitlements. It was designed as a transit oriented development and adjoins a light rail station. A feature of the plan is a wide pedestrian promenade along the rail line and a serene interior courtyard for the residents. This project, along with the Pedernales Live + Work studios helped begin the transformation of vacant industrial land into a vibrant neighborhood with housing, restaurants, bars, and coffee houses.
